Delete your LeitnerLoop account
This page concerns the LeitnerLoop app, published by inter-systeme.ca.
From within the app
This is the shortest route, and it asks nothing of anyone:
- open LeitnerLoop;
- go to Settings;
- the Sync section;
- tap Delete my account and confirm.
The effect is immediate. No request to file, no waiting period.
Without the app
If you have uninstalled LeitnerLoop, changed devices or lost your phone, write to us at support@inter-systeme.ca from the email address of the Google or Apple account you used to sign in.
Say that this is a request to delete a LeitnerLoop account. We answer within 30 days, and in practice well before that.
What is erased
Everything, with no trash bin:
- your library archive — sets, cards, review history — as it was last synced;
- the list of packs you have acquired;
- the account itself, that is, the fingerprint we used to recognise you from one device to another;
- the tokens that kept your devices signed in, on all your devices at once — none of them can reopen a session afterwards.
Any session still open stops being accepted at once. We keep neither a backup copy of this data nor a grace period allowing you to go back.
What is kept, and for how long
Nothing. Deletion leaves no account data behind it, and no additional retention period applies.
Two things do not depend on it and deserve to be said, because we get asked:
- What is on your device is untouched. Your cards stay with you and you can carry on studying without an account. To erase those too, uninstall the app.
- Your purchases are lost along with the account. It is the account that remembers the packs you acquired; the store does not. Deleting your account means buying a pack again if you want to reinstall it later.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Do it from the settings before uninstalling, or write to us.
